School is one subject where he pushes back a ton! "I don't like school!" Bull, kid. He loves school!
Lately, I've been trying to start the idea early. Two nights at bedtime, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast before school. One night, he wanted oatmeal. Then, he asked for soup with vegetables. The third night, I had forgotten to ask him about breakfast at bedtime. I gave him kisses, told him I loved him, and we spent a few minutes snuggling. When I was getting up to leave, he stopped me. Collin:"Wait! I waaaaaaaaant... Uuuuuuuummmmmmm... an omelet with cheese."
Me: "An omelet with cheese for breakfast?"
He wholeheartedly nods. Kid was putting in his order, lest I forget to take his request! They crack me up sometimes.
